Last week, our Education & Outreach Coordinator, Grace, joined King William High School 9th graders for River Day at Sandy Point State Forest, an awesome event hosted by the Mattaponi and Pamunkey Rivers Association – MPRA right along the beautiful Mattaponi River!

Three Rivers SWCD set up a station with our soil tent and sod boxes to demonstrate how conservation practices can reduce erosion and support healthier soil and water.
