Three Rivers Soil & Water Conservation District helps promote the Virginia Association of Soil & Water Conservation Districts (VASWCD) Scout Patch Program annually.

This program provides an opportunity for Girl and Boy Scout Troops to earn patches related to conservation when meeting certain requirements. The three patches that are available consist of the Conservation Poster Contest Patch, a Living in Your Watershed Patch, and a Soils Expert Patch.

In order to be eligible, scouts must submit an entry to their local SWCD for the Poster Contest. The 2020 Poster Contest theme is “Where Would We BEE Without Pollinators.”
