Future Conservation Leaders in Action!

Representing the Three Rivers SWCD district, five West Point High School Environmental Club students—led by sponsor Tom Johnson—recently competed in the 2025 Area III Envirothon, hosted by Henricopolis SWCD. After participating as an alternate team in 2024, they dedicated the year to building their skills, including a hands-on training session at Graves Mountain Lodge.

At this year’s competition, their hard work paid off—they earned 2nd place in the Special Topic category and 3rd place in Aquatics!

We’re so proud of their accomplishments and can’t wait to see how they grow in the 2025–2026 Envirothon season!
