It was a great morning connecting with local producers and conservation partners. Three Rivers staff shared updates on the Whole Farm Approach and Virginia Agricultural BMP Cost-Share Program, followed by Jayson Gill of Perdue Agribusiness with grain market insights and Malique Middleton of Virginia State University with information on the Small Farm Outreach Program. We also heard updates from Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency, Virginia Cooperative Extension, and the Virginia Department of Forestry.
