On April 20th, the Area III Envirothon was held at Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg and was hosted by Tri-County/City SWCD. Seven teams attended and six competed, with the other team being a non-competing team who attended to see what the competition consisted of so they could prepare a team for next year’s competition. A massive congratulations to the Jamestown team for winning the entire competition, but an extra special shout out to the non-competing team from West Point High School for winning the Special Topic category without any preparation! We can’t wait to see what they do next year. A huge thank you to Tri-County/City SWCD for putting on this event!
