Last week, Three Rivers SWCD had the opportunity to take local teachers on a Bay Quest Charter for a day of hands-on learning on the Chesapeake Bay.
Led by Capt. Rowe, educators learned about water quality testing, hand tonging oysters, the history of crab pots, and the unique ecology of our region. The trip gave teachers a chance to experience these topics firsthand and bring new ideas back to their classrooms.
Thank you to Capt. Rowe and Bay Quest Charters for sharing your knowledge and making it a great day on the water!
