

In another outreach effort with Friends of the Rappahannock, Grace also with a Bio-Blitz at St.Margaret’s School in Tappahannock. During this, the students had the opportunity to identify as many species as possible in a short amount of time.
Each of the biology classes from Essex High School came to SMS during their block period and participated in activities including looking through habitat cages located off of the SMS dock, cast netting, water quality testing, and seining using a net in the Rappahannock River to catch different fish.
