Three Rivers SWCD is pleased to partner with Colonial SWCD to present a new grant opportunity, the Alliance for the Advancement of Climate-Smart Agriculture. This grant opportunity is available to farmers who farm in any of the covered localities, have at least two acres of land, and have a farm number designated by the Farm Service Agency.

CHANGE TO TAX CREDIT PROCESS
If you’ve purchased equipment between 2021 and today and think you may qualify for a tax credit, please contact Sarah. Virginia TAX will now be processing applications and issuing certification letters on a rolling basis, as they are received. The deadline to submit applications is now December 31 of the year following the credit year, though it will be beneficial to submit your application and supporting documentation as soon as possible as TAX has a $2M state-wide cap that is issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Remember, this is currently retroactive to Tax Year 2021 which includes equipment purchased in 2021.
