If you’ve purchased equipment between 2021 and today and think you may qualify for a tax credit, please contact Sarah. Virginia TAX will now be processing applications and issuing certification letters on a rolling basis, as they are received. The deadline to submit applications is now December 31 of the year following the credit year, though it will be beneficial to submit your application and supporting documentation as soon as possible as TAX has a $2M state-wide cap that is issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Remember, this is currently retroactive to Tax Year 2021 which includes equipment purchased in 2021.

DISCLAIMER : Three Rivers Soil and Water Conservation District nor any of its employees are licensed tax professionals and do NOT provide any kind of financial guidance. We will happily help you with the application process and provide you with the supporting documentation that you will then provide to your tax preparer.
