On September 25th, our Education and Outreach Coordinator volunteered to help with the Virginia Soil and WaterConservation District booth at the State Fair. The booth included information about SWCDs all over Virginia and amap showing state fair attendees which watershed they lived in. Along with this map, an interactive wheel gave children and adults alike the opportunity to test their soil, water, wildlife, aquatic, and urban knowledge with Envirothon questions to win a small prize. Fun was had by all!
