We had a great time at the VASWCD Annual Meeting in Roanoke, held from December 8th-10th, where our team participated in a variety of educational sessions. All of our Staff and five District Directors took part in discussions on key topics such as legislative priorities, nutrient management, human resources, and educational outreach. We’re excited to apply the insights gained from these sessions to continue advancing conservation efforts in our community.

At the Awards Banquet, held on December 10th, we were honored to receive the District Exhibitor Award for our custom-designed Soil Tent. This interactive display provided a great opportunity to engage attendees and showcase the important role of soil health in conservation.
