VA Agricultural Best Management Practices Cost Share Sign-Up Period Opening July

Qualified applicants in the Three Rivers Soil and Water Conservation District service area of Essex, King and Queen, and King William counties are eligible to submit applications for Agricultural Best Management Practices Cost Share beginning July 6, 2021.

The Three Rivers Soil and Water Conservation District offers technical assistance, as well as financial assistance and state tax credit, for a variety of best management practices through the Virginia Agricultural Cost Share Program. The program offers more than 50 conservation practices that cover the full spectrum of agricultural operations. Priority practices include: Nutrient Management Plans, Cover Crops, Erosion Control Practices, Cropland Conversion, Stream Exclusion Fencing, and Precision Nutrient Management.

Applications will be made by appointment ONLY. To register for an appointment date and time, simply contact the Three Rivers SWCD office at 804-443-2327 ext. 4, Monday through Friday, 8:30-4:30. The sign up period will run from July 6, 2021 to August 6, 2021.
