Virginia Association of Environmental Education Conference

On February 22nd – 24th, our Education and Outreach Coordinator, Grace, was a first-time attendee at the VAEE Conference that was held at the George Mason University Science and Technology Campus in Manassas, VA. There were around 160 attendees, and during the conference, Grace attended multiple different sessions and trainings such as:
-Hands on Human Ecology with 3D Models and Simulations
-EE Guidance for Equitable Pay and Hiring
-Making Forever Bugs: Learning the Art of Resining Insects
-Are You an Environmental Educator?
-Using Social Media to Educate New Audiences
-Unravelling the Mystery of MWEEs with the James River Association
-Knock Down the Silos: Outdoor Science Learning & Literature
-Making Trash Bloom: An Exploration of how a Multi-Sector, Collaborative Approach can Drive Positive Change

Many connections were made and lots of fun was had by all!
