A big thank-you to our Environmental Outreach Interns, Joe and Hailey, for all their hard work this summer! They worked across all areas of our district, with a main focus on homeowner outreach initiatives.

Joe is heading back to Virginia Tech to start his senior year studying Environmental Conservation.

Hailey is starting a new role as VCAP Assistant Coordinator at VASWCD, continuing her work with Soil & Water Conservation Districts.

We appreciate their dedication and contributions and wish them all the best in what’s ahead. Thanks for a great summer, Joe and Hailey!
